2. Circa 1670. A timber-framed building. 2 storeys red brick. Hipped tiled roof with 3 hipped dormers. Wide bracket eaves cornice. 5 mullioned windows on the 1st floor with small square panes. Adjoining is a timber framed barn now faced with red brick. Tiled roof with 5 hipped dormers.
Finchden Manor, with gatepiers & garden wall & stables, & Mavnards Farmhouse, with Proiry Farmhouse (on south-west side of Appledore Road) form a group.
