The following text is from the original listed building designation:
BIDDENDEN NORTH STREET 1. 5272 (west side) No 29 (Mansion House) TQ 8538 16/76 16.8.62. II
2. Timber-framed building, C16 or earlier, refaced in the C19 the ground floor with red brick and above with tile hanging but retaining the overhang of the north-west window bay of the 1st floor on brackets. Two plastered gables also overhanging on brackets. Bays beneath these on ground and first floors, the northern 1st floor one with a cove beneath it. Tiled roof. Sash windows with glazing bars missing.
