The following text is from the original listed building designation:
1. 5272 SMARDEN PLUCKLEY ROAD Biddenden Green Cottage (formerly listed as Brosser Farmhouse and Biddenden Green Cottage) TQ 8842 29/34 14.2.67. II 2. Probably a late mediaeval hall-house refaced with weatherboarding. Steeply-pitched hipped tiled roof with smoke louvres and massive C17 brick chimney stack. Four casement windows. Doorcases with flat hoods over.
