The following text is from the original listed building designation:
TQ 93 SE WAREHORNE HAM STREET ROAD (south side) 5/171 Gold House GV II House. Early C18. Red brick and plain tiled roof. Two storeys on plinth with brick dentil eaves to roof with stacks to left and to right. Regular fenestration of 3 sashes on 1st floor and 2 on ground floor all in moulded surrounds. Central door of 6 raised and fielded panels, the top 2 glazed, with flat, moulded hood. Catslide outshot to rear.
