The following text is from the original listed building designation:
1. 5344 CANTERBURY ROAD (West Side) Rose Cottage TR 04 NW 4/161 II 2. Late C18 to early C19. 2 storeys. Ground floor red brick with grey headers, 1st floor tile hung. Hipped tiled roof. 2 sashes with glazing bars intact. The rear elevation has a roof in 2 hips.
