The following text is from the original listed building designation:
APPLEDORE THE STREET 1. 5272 (east side) No 69 (Hallhouse Farmhouse) TQ 9529 15/13 II 2. Probable C17 or earlier timber-framed building refaced in C19 with red brick on ground floor and curved tile hung above. Hipped tiled roof. Three casement windows. Doorcase with door of 6 fielded panels.

Further info and conservation statement. (1)

End-jetty house with a formerly open 2-bay hall. The lower end is jettied and the passage was probably overshot. Original roof was replaced in the late 16th century.(3)
