The following text is from the original listed building designation:
ROLVENDEN BENENDEN ROAD 1. 5272 (north side) Hole Park TQ 83 SW 7/263 II GV
2. The part remaining is the central C17 and C18 part of Hole Park, the facade of which was restored about 1960. This was the home of the Gybbon Monypenny family. The C19 wings were demolished at this time. Two storeys and attics red brick. Nine window bays in all. Hipped tiled roof with 2 brick stacks and 2 modern dormers. Parapet with stone coping. Brick cornice. Casement windows. The central window bay projects forward and the 2 flanking ones on each side project slightly further than the remaining two. Cross-shaped iron ties. Stringcourse. Modern doorcase in Georgian style with semi-circular enriched pediment, triglyph frieze fluted pilasters and 6 panelled door with the top 2 panels cut away and glazed.
