2. Row of cottages, between the road and the churchyard. Two storeys. Seven windows facing north. No 8 has 3 windows facing west and No 20, one window facing east. The north front is of red brick on the ground floor and weatherboarded above. No 8 has a lunette window in the centre of the first floor of its west front and a doorway with flat hood over. No 16 has an attic storey of 2 gabled dormers and one modern bay on the ground floor. Nos 8-14 are C18. Nos 16-20 are timber-framed C16 or earlier refaced on the north front but with the timber-framing exposed on the first floor of the east front of No 20. Facing the churchyard, close-studding plaster infilling and an oversailing plastered gable above containing an attic window.
