The following text is from the original listed building designation:
1. 5272 BETHERSDEN THE STREET (north side) Rose Court TQ 9240 21/6 14.2.67 II GV 2. Probably a late mediaeval timber-framed building fronted with red brick and grey headers, the east wall weatherboarded. Hipped tiled roof with smoke louvres. Three casement windows. Doorcase with pilasters and pediment over.
