The following text is from the original listed building designation:
1. 5272 CHARING HIGH STREET (west side) The White House TQ 9549 22/30 14.2.67 II GV 2. C17. Two storeys painted brick. Tiled roof. Three sashes with glazing bars intact. One 3-light bay on ground floor. Doorcase up 3 steps set sideways with iron handrail, the doorcase having pilasters, a projecting cornice and a door of 6 fielded panels.
