Suspension footbridge. Mid C19. Brick piers, rendered, with iron chains supporting wooden walkway. The piers at either end of the bridge about 12 feet high with plinth, plat band and moulded cornice (damaged on eastern piers), with arch on impost bands between. Heavy linked chains tied to the ground pass through the piers and support via linking pieces the wooden walkway some 25 yards long.
