Full Description

The following text is from the original listed building designation:
1. CHARING HIGH STREET 5272 (west side) No 17 TQ 9549 22/42 14.2.67 (Peckwater House) II GV 2. C18. Two storeys attics and cellar red brick. Hipped tiled roof, with one dormer parapet and cornice. Three sashes with glazing bars missing. Doorcase at south end up 7 steps, with open pediment, pilasters, semi-circular fanlight and door of 6 fielded panels. The house retains iron spear railings to its forecourt.
