Building survey carried out by Oxford Archaeology Unit in 1999 prior to the buildings demolition as part of the CTRL works. The building was built in the early 19th century as a three cell single storey structure, with a fireplace in the central room. c1890 the first floor was added as a timber stud construction, again divided into three rooms. A second chimney stack was added at this time. Sometime in the 20th century a single storey pent-roofed extention was added to the north side. (1)
