The following text is from the original listed building designation:
TQ 93 NE ORLESTONE CAPEL ROAD (south side) 2/85 Barn about 50 metres south- 15.2.88 east of Capel House GV II Barn. c18. Timber framed and weather boarded on red brick base with plain tiled roof. Half-hipped to left and hipped to right with open arcaded outshot. Hipped midstrey. Interior: 4 bays of straight, sawn timber with single aisle with straight quadrant braces and clasped purlin roof. Included for group value.
