Full Description
An Athenian silver didrachm was found at Chatham Dockyard when ramparts were thrown up "in the beginning of the last war [1756-1763]" It appears, from the sketch (1) to be earlier than the Roman Empire, but it may have been brought to Chatham and lost there in comparatively modern times (2). (1-2)
