The following text is from the original listed building designation:
KENARDINGTON 1. 5272 Place Farmhouse TQ 93 SE 10/232 16.8.62. II
2. C18 front to a probably older building. Two storeys red brick. Steeply pitched hipped tiled roof. Four casement windows with small square leaded panes. Trellised wooden porch.

Dendrochronology dating gave a date of 1512/13. (2) Further dendrochronology dating gave a date of 1510/11. (3)
