The following text is from the original listed building designation:
TQ 93 SE WAREHORNE CHURCH ROAD (south side) 5/159 Chest tomb about 50 metres south west of church of St. Matthew GV II Chest tomb. Mid C18. Freestone with marble top slab. Originally railed surround, with moulded plinth, baluster, corner piers and fielded panels. Moulded top slab incised with Coat of Arms. Inscription illegible.
