House. C16, altered and extended mid C19. Timber framed, roughcast and tile hung, and extended with red bricks. Plain tiled roof. Two storeys and basement, with attic to return wing. Stacks to left and to rear end right. Two cross windows on first floor and 4 on ground floor with basement opening to right. Door of 6 panels (the top 2 glazed) in flat roofed moulded porch. Right return wing with hipped roof, 2 hipped dormers, and wooden casements. C16 building enlarged C19 with materials taken from Elmsted Vicarage (See M. Harwood, Kentish Village, 1952; Arthur Marsh, Hastingleigh, 1985).
