The following text is from the original listed building designation:
TR 04 SE & TR 03 NE SMEETH THE RIDGEWAY (east side) 1&4/139 Holly Cottage House. Cl8. Red brick and tile hung with ragstone to return elevations. Plain tiled roof. Two storeys and hipped roof with stacks to left and to right. Regular fenestration of 3 glazing bar sashes on 1st floor and 2 on ground floor with central boarded door with pediment on brackets. Glazing bar sash to return elevations.
