Manor House. C15, C16, C18 and C19. Timber framed and clad in painted brick with plain tile roof. Wealden House. 2 storeys and attic on plinth, with wooden eaves cornice to gabled roof with 4 gabled dormers. 2 offset projecting end stacks, to left of 3 chimneys, including the bread oven flue, to right of 2 chimneys. Regular fenestration of 4 glazing bar sashes to first floor, and 3 mid C19 glazing bar sashes to ground floor in gauged headed openings. Central 6 panelled and fielded door with side lights and large semi circular traceried fan over. Interior: dragon beams for now-lost jettying survive, some C16 wainscotting to hall, and carved door posts to old screens passage. Date plaque 1850, a reference to Edward Hales on stack EH with triangular-headed beehives on base.
