The following text is from the original listed building designation:
R0LVENDEN MOUNTS LANE 1. 5272 Pix's Cottages Nos 1, 2 and 3 (formerly listed as Pix's Farmhouse) TQ 83 SE 8/340 16.8.62. II
2. Cl5 2-storeyed timber-framed building with the timbering and plaster infilling, also some close-studding exposed in the south wall but most of the building now tile hung. The west front has 3 later Cl6 gables with carved bressumers beneath them, the outer ones oversailing and with the initials 'T M M W'. Tiled roof with pentice behind which conceals the original back wall, and a gable rising out of it to light the scullery which was added. Three casement windows with small square leaded panes. Two C19 gabled porches. Brick chimney breast on the south wall. Embattled beams in the interior.
