The following text is from the original listed building designation:
1. 5272 KINGSNORTH CHURCH HILL Piran Cottage TR 03 NW 20/2 II GV 2. Two parallel ranges. The south range is probably C17, refaced with red brick now painted on the ground floor and tile-hung above. Hipped tiled roof. Two casement windows. Brick chimney breast on the west wall. The north range is a C19 addition, with its 1st floor oversailing in imitation of timber-framing.
