The following text is from the original listed building designation:
1. 5344 HIGH STREET (South Side) No 31 No 31A TR 0142 NW 1/6 II GV 2. One building. Early C19. 2 storeys and attics stuccoed front, 3 dormers. Parapet. 3 windows. 2 3-light canted bays on the 1st floor with a wide stuccoed panel on each side of them and a smaller one above them and above the centre 1st floor window with Greek Key and Scroll designs. Glazing bars intact above the ground floor. Modern shop front with wooden Tuscan half columns. C18 or earlier weatherboarded extension to rear with steeply pitched hipped tiled roof.
Nos 19, 19A, 21 to 25 (odd), 25A, 27, 31 and 31A form a group.
