TR 04 SE BRABOURNE CANTERBURY ROAD East Brabourne (west side)
4/13 Barn about 20 metres south west of Penstock Hall
GV II
Barn. C17. Timber framed and clad with red brick in English bond. Plain tiled roof. Hipped roof, with hipped midstrey and 2 boarded cart doors to rear (ie. to east). Interior: 3 bays with aisles and terminal outshots. Passing shores to aisle posts. Clasped purlin roof. Identical in form to the barn about 10 metres to east, but the timber is generally of poorer scantling and finish and straighter, indicating later date.
