Findspot record TQ 76 NE 62 - Bronze sword, Chatham Reach
Summary
Bronze sword found in the River medway at Chatham Reach in 1871. Unique as had been formed by joining the tang of a Hallstatt sword to a butt and blade of the native Ewart type. Complete, and in fine condition; find is in the British Museum.
