The following text is from the original listed building designation:
1. 5272 GREAT CHART ASHFORD ROAD Possingham Farmhouse TQ 93 NE 19/42 14.2.67 II 2. C16 or earlier small timber-framed house, with plaster infilling and curved braces on first floor, the ground floor rebuilt in brick, now painted. Steeply-pitched hipped tiled roof. Two casement windows.
