Full Description

The following text is from the original listed building designation:
1. 5272 EGERTON LOWER STREET Spring Cottage and Little Manor Cottage TQ 94 NW 10/10 14.2.67 II 2. The cottages form one timber-framed building, probably a late mediaeval hall-house, refaced, the ground floor of the north-east front with stone rubble and the north-west front with cement, above tile-hung. Hipped tiled roof. Two casement windows facing north-east and 2 facing north-west. Chimney-breast on the north-east wall.
