The following text is from the original listed building designation:
1. 5272 CHARING HIGH STREET (east side) Nos 18 and 18A (formerly listed as Harvey House) TQ 9549 22/23 14.2.67 II GV 2. Corner building facing High Street and Ashford Road. C18, 2 storeys painted brick. Hipped tiled roof with eaves cornice. Stringcourse. Three sashes with glazing bars intact and one window space facing High Street, one 3-light bay on the corner and two 3-light sashes and one window space facing Ashford Road. Fire plaque. Doorcase to each front in moulded architrave surround with projecting cornice over. Modern shop-front in the angle of the block. The doorcase to Ashford Road has lozenge decorations to its frieze. Plinth.
