2. Dated 1846 and built in Jacobean style. The architect was Donthorne. 2 storeys and attics built of rubble. 2 protruding end gables. Fishscale tiled roof it 2 sets of clustered twisted chimneys. Double oriels through 2 storeys with mullioned and transomed diamond paned windows. Porch with a parapet having blank shields and octagonal pilasters. Plinth. On the battlements there is a shield with the motto "Louis Deo" and various heraldic beasts. The central portion of the house has 2 arched windows with carved figures in the spandrels. The water spouts have moulded iron dogs' or cow's heads. The rainwater heads have devil's masks dated 1840 with the initials WW intertwined on a shield. Octagonal bell turret on roof. Attached to the left is a stable-wing also of rubble blocks of 2 storeys. Slate roof. 2 blocked mullioned and transomed windows. Gable with carriage entrance underneath.
