Full Description
A Late Bronze Age leaf-shaped sword of a type common in Ireland (Ballintaber), was found in 1910 in the River Medway at Strood, and presented to Maidstone Museum by Mr. Beckford Ball (Acc. No. 88, 1961). (1) No further information. Beckford Ball, formerly of Hollingbourne Manor House, could not be traced. (2)
