Summary

Grade II* listed building. A 16th century timber framed manor house built over a 14th century crypt or undercroft with ribbed vaulting. The house was reclad in brick in the 19th century. The undercroft is the only surviving part of a larger medieval manor house, probably dating from the mid 14th century. The owner was granted a licence to crenellate in 1339
