Monument record TQ 76 NW 19 - Romano-British pottery and coins, found at Strood

Summary

Romano-British urns of grey ware, unglazed black ware, and a narrow necked vase of poor soft pink ware. A strap handled patera of red glazed ware and coins of Licinius, Crispus and Constantine II were found during the reconstruction of Watling Street at Strood. Finds are now in Maidstone Museum.
