"Frensham Manor… is a large and complex structure originating in the Middle Ages. The earliest identifiable phase dates from the sixteenth century with later additions, notably a classical-style brick extension in the seventeenth century". It is likely that there was an earlier structure on the site - a few elements appear to survive in the dining hall, indicating the existance of a probable 15th-century farmhouse. (2)
