The following text is from the original listed building designation:
TR 03 NE SMEETH CHURCH ROAD (east side) 4/113 Chest tomb to Elizabeth Ball about 15 metres east of Church of St. Mary GV II Chest tomb to Elizabeth Ball, d.1817. Stone. Originally in railed surround on paved base, with moulded plinth and reeded and fluted corner piers to moulded top slab. Raised and fielded side panels with cut away corners.
