Full Description

The following text is from the original listed building designation:
TR 03 NE SMEETH CHURCH ROAD (east side) Church Cottages 4/114 GV II House, sometime cottage pair. C16, clad C18. Timber framed and clad with red brick on ragstone, tile hung on 1st floor, with plain tiled roof. Three framed bay and fire bay lobby entry plan, probably a hall house in origin. Two storeys on plinth with hipped roof with gablets and stacks to centre left and projecting at end left and at end right. Two 3 light and central 2 light wooden casements on each floor. Boarded doors to centre right and to centre left with flat hood on brackets. Catslide outshot to rear. Interior: full frame visible. Strap-hinge C18 doors.
