Description from record TQ 94 SW 8:
(TQ 93374402) Gore Court (NAT) (1) 5272 PLUCKLEY MALMAINS ROAD Gore Court TQ 94 SW 14/134 14.2.67. II* 2. C15 timber-framed building with plaster infilling, the first floor of the end window bays originally oversailing but now underbuilt in brick, painted. The eaves between overhang on curved braces. Nearly central bay on ground and first floors containing windows of tiers of 6 lights, with wooden mullions and transoms, with a cove beneath the first floor window and a gable over containing an attic window. Steeply-pitched hipped tiled roof. Casement windows. Modern porch. To the west is another doorway with a gabled hood over, as if the building had at one time been 2 cottages. Painted brick chimney breast on the south-east wall. The ground floor of the south-west front has been rebuilt in stone rubble. This is a good example of a C15 Wealden hall-house(2) Gore Court, a 15th century Wealden house with a later gabled bay in the hall. (3)
