Grade II listed building. A late 17th to early 18th century house two storeyed house with a 19th century wing. The north west part is constructed from Kentish ragstone with galleting whilst the south east part is of red brick; all on a ragstone plinth. The roof is tiled and hipped on one side.

The following text is from the original listed building designation:
1. 5272 GREAT CHART BEAR LANE Worten Worten House TQ 94 SE 15/32 II 2. Late C17 to early C18, with C19 wing. Two storeys, the north-west part of Kentish ragstone with galleting, the south-east part of red brick, all on ragstone plinth. Tiled roof, half-hipped on one side. Two gabled dormers. Three altered casements, cambered on ground floor. C19 brick porch with curved gabled and hood moulding.
