Romano-British urns, found in 1895 at Wickham Cement Works. The four vessels comprised a cinerary urn, as well as Samian and Upchurch ware. Last know to have been donated to Dartford Museum.

[TQ 72586759] Roman Sepulchral Urns found A.D. 1895 [T.I.] (1) Several Roman urns were found in 1895 (at the spot indicated on [field]trace) in Wickham Cement Works (2) (Now Martin Earles)(3) Four Roman vessels, including a cinerary urn, Samian and Upchurch ware, found at Wickham Cement Works near Rochester and donated to the museum by Mr. E. Earle. (4) No further information: these quarries have been derelict many years. (5)
