Summary
Romano-British urns found in 1893 in what at the time was identified as a cist or grave near Strood cemetery and Wickham Farm. More likely to be a rubbish pit than a burial as other finds included a large iron nail, bones of fish, birds, deer, and pig, and also oyster shells.
