Full Description

The following text is from the original listed building designation:
1. 5344 EAST HILL (North Side) No 9 (Brooke Place) TR 0142 NW 1/63 24.9.51. II GV 2. Early C19 front to a probable C18 house. 3 storeys yellow brick. Brick parapet and wooden cornice above 2nd floor. Stone string courses above ground and 1st floors, the ground floor string course having a reeded band. 5 sashes with glazing bars missing. Fine porch with twin fluted Doric columns, triglyph frieze and modillion cornice. Doorcase in reeded architrave surround with semi-circular fanlight and door of 6 moulded panels. Ground floor addition on the east side. East front painted brick with eaves bracket cornice.
Nos 5 to 9 (odd), wall to south-east of No 9. No 11 and wall to south-east of No 11 form a group.
