The following text is from the original listed building designation:
1. 5273 ICKHAM AND WELL THE STREET (north-east side)

2. Late C17 house of 2 storeys and attics red brick. Three bays to original house, the end bay a later addition. Tiled roof with one hipped dormer. Gable ends with kneelers. Three sashes with glazing bars intact and shutters. Cambered architraves to ground floor windows. Doorcase with open pediment and pilasters. The interior contains an inglenook fireplace, some panelling and a 'dog-leg' staircase with turned balusters.
