No 29 (Kemphall Farmhouse) TR 1961 33/661 30.1.67

2. An L-shaped building of 2 storeys and 4 windows with a hipped tiled roof and casement windows. Simple doorcase with pedimented weatherhood. The south wing is timber-framed, probably Cl5, the first floor of its west front close-studded with plaster infilling, the first floor of the east front having red brick infilling, the ground floor rebuilt in red brick. The west wind is C18, red brick and grey headers covered with ivy. The west wing has an external brick chimeystack with tumbling-in. Close-studded portion dated 1356.
