2. Mid C15 Wealden Timber-framed house, much restored. Two storeys and attic, rendered to front with tile roof with 2 hipped dormers and two clusters of hexagonal brick stacks. The centre front is recessed with overhanging eaves supported on brackets and a small modern oriel to the first floor with flanking lights, above a 12-light window with wood mullions and transoms. Left-hand block has a window of four lights and an elaborate rain water head of lead above an 8-light window, wood mullions and transoms. The right-hand block has one window of two and one of four lights above the doorway and a window of eight mullion and transom lights. The doorway is 4-centred, in wood, with carved spandrels and a cartouche over. The interior has a king post roof, but the panelling and other fittings have been brought from elsewhere.
