The following text is from the original listed building designation:
CHURCH STREET 1. 5273 (South-West Side) The Old Parsonage TR 16 NW 4/35 30.3.51. II 2. C16 brick and timber framed house with painted infilling, the ground floor rebuilt in brick, painted. Tiled roof. 2 storeys and attic. 3 windows. 1 window bay added at the south end in the C19. Modern casement windows. A date appears upon the front elevation of 1461.
