The following text is from the original listed building designation:
CANTERBURY ROAD 1. 5273 (North-West Side) The Brewers Public House TR 16 NW 4/79 II 2. Late C18 building of 2 storeys, brick with dentil eaves course. Old clay tiled roof having hipped ends. 2 sash windows 1st floor with wing lights and central window all glazing bars complete. Central doorway under a segmental rubbed brick arch. 2 large windows ground floor with plate glass and 2 other doors.
