1. 944 THE CATHEDRAL PRECINCTS

2. A large late C18 house now divided into 5 flats. The main portion is 2 storeys painted brick. Parapet. String course above each floor. In the centre, on the lst floor is a large projecting bay of 3 windows supported on 4 wooden Doric columns forming a kind of narthex. Modillion cornice round the top of the bay. No 11A is a separate house set back to the west and dating from the early C18. This portion is 2 to 3 storeys painted brick with stringcourses. Tiled roof. Sashes set in cambered recesses.
