Pigrim's entry or Pentise attached to No 29 The Cathedral Precincts [TR 15 NE 60] Grade II*. This was a covered way, through which the 15th century pilgrim's went to their lodgings after making their devotions at the Shrine of St Thomas a' Becket. Medieval. (1) (TR 15085803) Pentise [NR]. (2)

2. This was a coevered way, through which the C15 pilgrims went to their lodgings aftermaking their devotions at the Shrine of St Thomas a' Becket. Mediaeval. 1 storey flint and ashlar. Roofed with tie-beams on braces and scissor braces above. Tiled roof. Timber framed and brick end.
Nos 20 to 29A (consec), Pilgrim's or Prentise entry attached to No 29, wall in garden of No 29, wall and gatepiers between Nos 28 and 29, Gateway from Green Court and building adjoining to leftt, King's School Library and Norman staircase form a group.
