Summary

Grade II listed building. Main construction periods 1567 to 1899. Late 16th-early 17th century barn with a 19th century cartshed on the north end. Weatherboarded timber frame on footings of stone rubble and brick; some of the roof in pegtile but most has been replaced with corrugated iron. 3-bay aisled barn with opposing doors to central threshing floor. The building has been altered in the 20th century.

Barn, Late C16 re-raftered in C19. Oak framed aisled barn of 3 bays clad in weatherboarding with C19 knapped flint plinth: lean-to to north of knapped flint with brick quoins.Half-hipped roof originally thatched but now mostly clad in corrugated iron but part of west side and central porched cart entrance and lean- to peg-tiled. Clasped collar purlin roof with wind braces. Face halved passing brace to aisled framing. Jowled posts.
