Ickham Post Office, Village Stores and attached home TR 25 NW 10/418

2. L-shaped building incorporating a timber-framed building of circa 1520 with additions and a post office addition of 1839. The north-eastern part is the oldest. Exterior of 2 storeys red brick with a hipped tiled roof. Datestone "D S A 1739" probably referring to the refronting. Three sashes with glazing bars intact. Exposed beam to interior. C19 addition at right angles built of 2 storeys red brick with slate roof. Three sashes. Ground floor square bay and doorcase with flat hood on brackets.
