BRIDGE HIGH STREET (north-east side) No 53

(Formerly listed as The White Horse Inn)

GV II

Late mediaeval core, C18 exterior to front elevation. Two storeys, stucco to front, brick to sides. Hipped tiled roof. North-west bay projects. First floor has two windows of three and one of two lights, hung sashes with glazing bars. Ground floor has two canted bays, one window of three lights and modern door with hood on brackets. Early C16 inscription on fireplace lintel.
